Estate Research was founded in 2001 to trace next of kin to unclaimed estates. We have evolved to provide a full range of tracing services and developed our Empty Property Solutions service as a response to an increasing issue effecting local authorities.
We have an enviable track record of over 20 years, tracing next of kin for local authorities, NHS trusts and coroners. We employ 67 members of staff, across 3 nationwide offices and work with 250 local authorities. As well as working throughout the UK, we have several international agents. Our reputation has been built on our professionalism and our policy of transparency, which underpins all our workings with beneficiaries and our clients.
Over the years we have been asked more and more by local authorities for assistance with empty properties in their area. We developed our Empty Property Solutions service to help tackle the problem and bring those properties back into use. We can also provide advice from our panel solicitors on enforcement action and issues with probate. Our dedicated Empty Properties Solutions Team is located in our head office at Wigan.
